Prepare and bake the cake mix according to package directions for a 9x13 inch pan. Let cool completely.

Once cool, crumble the cake into small pieces in a large mixing bowl. Add frosting and mix with your hands until a thick, dough-like consistency is formed.

Roll the cake dough into 1-inch balls. Dip one end of a cake pop stick into melted brown candy melts, then push into each cake ball. Place on a baking sheet lined with wax or parchment paper and chill for ⏱️ 1 hour until firm.

To make pumpkins: gently press a toothpick into the sides of the chilled cake pops to create grooves. Melt orange candy melts in 30-second intervals until smooth. Dip pumpkin-shaped pops, letting excess drip. Let set.

For pumpkin finishing: Melt green candy melts. Pipe green vines on top using a piping bag or snipped ziplock. Stick a mini chocolate chip on top for the stem.

To make turkeys: Melt brown candy melts. Dip remaining cake pops, letting excess drip. Before setting, press two candy eyeballs onto the front. Let set.

For turkey feathers: Dip the wide end of candy corn into melted brown candy and firmly press onto the back of the cake pop, fanning them out to create tail feathers. Use melted orange candy to draw a small triangle beak below the eyes.
