Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla in a separate bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, 1 to ⏱️ 2 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until incorporated after each addition. Reduce mixer speed to low, and gradually beat in flour mixture just until incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop dough by tablespoonfuls at least 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets. Press cookies with wet fingers to 1/2-inch-thick rounds. Bake, in batches, until golden brown, 11 to ⏱️ 13 minutes. Cool on baking sheets.
