Tequila Poached Pears

Peel the skin from the whole pear with a vegetable peeler; leaving the fruit whole. Slice a thin layer off of the bottom of the pear so that it sits flat; then place in a crock pot.

Add the tequila, pear juice, sugar and lime juice to a small saucepan. Heat over high heat ⏱️ 3-4 minutes until the sugar is dissolved; then pour over the pears.
