Cook the ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking the beef apart as it cooks, until cooked through, about ⏱️ 10 minutes, before draining off an excess grease.

Add the garlic and taco seasoning, mix and cook until fragrant, about a minute.
