Place the diced sweet potatoes and whole cloves of garlic in a pot, cover with water, bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are tender, about ⏱️ 15-20 minutes.

Drain the water and mash the sweet potatoes and garlic before seasoning with salt and pepper to taste and setting aside.

Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat, add the turkey, onion, and celery, and cook, breaking the turkey apart as it cooks, about ⏱️ 10-15 minutes

Mix in the garlic, rosemary, thyme, sage, and tomato paste, sprinkle on the flour, mix and cook for a minute.

Add the broth and Worcestershire sauce, mix, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for ⏱️ 5 minutes.

Add the frozen vegetables, mix and let them warm, about ⏱️ 5 minutes, before seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Spread the meat mixture over the bottom of an 8×13 inch baking pan, top with the mashed potatoes./

Bake in a preheated 350F/180C oven until the sides are bubbling, about ⏱️ 20-30 minutes.
