In a blender, pulse 1 & 1/2 pounds of the strawberries with the water until smooth. Transfer half of the puree into a 2 quart pitcher.

To the blender with the remaining half of strawberry puree, add in the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla. Pulse until combined. Taste, and if necessary, add a tablespoon of sugar at a time until you get the desired sweetness.

Pour mixture into the pitcher; stir to combine.
