Sloppy joes just got even better by mixing in macaroni and plenty of cheese!

Cook the bacon in a large pan, set aside and drain off most of the grease.

Add the beef and onions and cook until the beef is cooked though, breaking it up as it cooks with a spoon, before draining off any excess grease.

Add the garlic, paprika, and tomato paste and cook until fragrant, about a minute.

Add the broth and macaroni, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until the pasta is cooked, about ⏱️ 8 minutes.

Meanwhile make the cheese sauce.

Mix the cheese sauce, beans, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, vinegar, and sriracha and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Melt the butter in a sauce pan over medium heat.

Sprinkle in the flour and cook until bubbling and lightly golden brown, about a minute.

Add the milk, mix well and bring to a simmer and cook until it thickens a bit, about ⏱️ 2-3 minutes.

Reduce the heat to medium-low, add the cheese and cook until it melts into a smooth sauce.
