Set up grill for direct cooking and heat to medium-high. Once hot, clean and lightly oil grates with canola oil. Cut orange in half. Cut one half into wedges, then cut wedges into pieces.

Toss together shrimp, bell pepper, olive oil, paprika, and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Season with salt and black pepper. Thread onto skewers, alternating with chorizo and orange pieces.

Place remaining orange half, cut side down, on grill and cook until charred, 1 to ⏱️ 2 minutes. Cook kebabs, turning occasionally, until shrimp are opaque, 4 to ⏱️ 5 minutes, squeezing juice from grilled orange over top just before removing from grill.
