📝 Preparation Steps
1
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
2
Cut the squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and pulp. Place the squash halves cut-side down on a dinner plate, add 2 tablespoons of water; then microwave on high for ⏱️ 10 minutes, or until the flesh is tender and easily pierced with a fork. Once done, remove from the microwave and let cool for a few minutes before using a fork to scrape the flesh into spaghetti-like strands into a mixing bowl.
3
Add the sausage bolognese to the squash; then mix until all of the strands are covered.
4
Add the mixture back into the squash shells, place on top of a sheet pan; then top with the shredded Mozzarella cheese and bake for ⏱️ 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and is hot and bubbly. (You can also place the mixture into a casserole dish, top with the cheese and bake that way as well.)
