Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat, add the garlic, anchovies and red pepper flakes and cook until fragrant, about a minute.

Add the tomatoes, olives and capers, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until it thickens a bit, about ⏱️ 5-7 minutes, breaking the tomatoes apart with a wooden spoon as it simmers.
