In a large bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until soft peaks form; then add the sugar, pumpkin pie spice and vanilla. Beat again until blended.

In a separate bowl, whip the cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form; then gently fold in the pumpkin puree and egg white mixture. Do not over mix.
