Make the Salted Butter-Washed Bourbon: Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and whisk in bourbon. Cover and let sit, ⏱️ 1 hour. Freeze until the fat is solidified, 4 to ⏱️ 6 hours. Remove frozen butter, then strain bourbon through a coffee filter to remove any remaining solids. Store bourbon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
