Preheat oven to 425°F.

Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and place the bread slices on it in a single layer. Bake for about 3 to ⏱️ 4 minutes until just starting to toast.

Remove toasted bread from oven, turn them over, and spread each slice with 1 tablespoon pizza sauce. Sprinkle each with 3 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese and top with 3 pepperoni slices, a few slices of mushroom, and some diced green bell pepper and red onion.

Finish with 2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

Return bread to oven for 5 to ⏱️ 8 minutes or until cheese is melted with some brown spots.

Remove from oven, sprinkle with some basil and enjoy!
