If you don’t have time to cook down the berries on the stove, feel free to use a microwave instead until they are nice and jammy.

Place the berries, vanilla bean paste, and 1 teaspoon of water into a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until they have fully defrosted and turned into a loose, jammy sauce, about ⏱️ 2 minutes. Alternatively, use a microwave: Place the berries and vanilla in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 2- 2½ minutes, stopping to stir halfway through.
