Place the potatoes, carrots, parsnips, celery, onions, rosemary and thyme in a baking dish or roasting pan.

Peek back the skin on the drumsticks and place the sage leaves under the skin.

Brush the skin of the drumsticks with butter and place on top of the vegetables.

Salt and pepper everything to taste.

Roast in a preheated 375F/190C oven until the center of the drumstick reaches 180F, about 1.⏱️ 5-2 hours.

Let the drumsticks rest.
