Preheat oven to 180°C / 160°C fan / 350°F.

Place the nuts and seeds on a baking tray and bake for ⏱️ 10 - 12 minutes until golden, fragrant and beginning to release their natural oils. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly on the tray on a wire rack.

Place the slight cooled nuts into a food processor with the salt and blend for around ⏱️ 15 minutes until a smooth mixture forms. It always takes longer than you think to reach that smooth texture so be patient with it, and stop to take breaks if you are concerned your food processor is overheating.

Once prepared, you can store this spread in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 month.
