Whisk together ¾ cup light corn syrup, ½ cup whole milk, 2 tsp. vanilla extract, and 1 tsp. Diamond Crystal or ½ tsp. Morton kosher salt in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high power until milk is just starting to simmer, 1–⏱️ 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and add 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (about 12 oz.). Let sit ⏱️ 2 minutes, then whisk until smooth. Do Ahead: Hot fudge can be made 1 week ahead. Cover and chill.
