Mix the adobo sauce with the corn syrup and pour onto a rimmed plate. Spread the crushed chips on another plate. Dip the rim of a glass in the adobo mixture, then in the chips.

Add the tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, lime juice, hot sauce and a pinch of pepper to the rimmed glass. Slowly pour in the beer. Serve with lime wedges.
