In a large pitcher, mix the ketchup, orange soda, sparkling water, and Clamato until smooth. Chill until ready to serve.

Arrange 4 serving glasses or bowls. Evenly divide the shrimp among the glasses, and arrange a few along the sides if desired. To each glass, add tomato, onion, and cilantro.

To each serving, add 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon lime juice. (Do not stir the lime juice or salt into the pitcher; seasoning each portion individually keeps the flavors bright and balanced.)

Divide the ketchup mixture evenly among the glasses, pouring over the shrimp and vegetables. Top with avocado and serve immediately with hot sauce and tortilla chips or saltine crackers.
