📝 Preparation Steps
1
Bake cakes and allow them to cool completely.
2
While the cakes are baking and cooling, prepare the frosting.
3
To assemble the cake, place one cake on a serving dish, spread icing on top and place the other cake on top. Press gently and the ice the entire cake smoothly. Keep aside.
4
Prepare light and dark shades of brown fondant using gel food coloring.
5
Roll both of them into long "sausage" shapes.
6
Align them together and start rolling them into a spiral shape.
7
Some people like to just roll it out at this point but I feel like that gives a cool spiral pattern rather than an abstract marble one. Now, just randomly squeeze it into a rough ball shape and knead it a little. Don't knead too much. You should still be able to see streaks of both colors.
8
Use a rolling pin to roll out this ball of fondant.
9
Spread this over your frosted cake.
10
Decorate with Whopper candies and Oreo cookies. Stick them into place with melted chocolate.
