Lemony Broccoli & Walnut Orecchiette
This is one those simple pasta dishes we find ourselves making time and time again. The broccoli and peas keep it fresh and vibrant, while the toasted walnuts add richness and a boost of omega 3. It’s quick, comforting and perfect for busy evenings.

Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil. Add the pasta and cook for 8–⏱️ 9 minutes, until al dente, adding the broccoli and peas for the final ⏱️ 2 minutes. Drain, reserving a cupful of cooking water.

Meanwhile, place a frying pan over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Add the walnuts, garlic and chilli and cook for 4–⏱️ 5 minutes, until fragrant and lightly golden. Remove from the heat.

Add the cooked pasta, broccoli and peas to the pan. Pour in a splash of the reserved cooking water and stir over low heat until everything comes together in a glossy sauce. Remove from the heat. Stir through the lemon zest and season generously.

Divide between bowls and finish with a drizzle of olive oil. Delicious served with a fresh green salad.
