Combine 2 oz. apple brandy, 1 oz. sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes Angostura bitters, if using, in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until well chilled, 20–⏱️ 25 seconds, then strain into a coupe. Garnish with an orange twist, if using.
