Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Combine the salt, pepper, paprika, oregano and garlic powder in a small dish and mix until blended.

Add the oil to a Dutch oven or oven safe pot and heat over medium high heat. Trim any excess fat from the meat and discard; then rub the spices over both sides of the meat. Place in the Dutch oven and brown ⏱️ 3-5 minutes per side.

Next, add the tomatoes and chicken broth to the pot, cover with a lid and place the entire pot into the oven for ⏱️ 3 hours.

After the second hour, you can also add some vegetables like carrots and onions; then spoon the sauce over the meat and cook for the remaining hour.

Carefully remove the pot from the oven (with pot holders!), place the meat on a cutting board, slice diagonally across the grain; then place the meat on a serving platter. Spoon the sauce with any added vegetables over the meat; then serve.
