Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Fill a bowl with ice water and set aside. Using a small knife, score a shallow "X" in the bottom of each tomato.

Carefully lower the tomatoes into the boiling water. Cook until the skin begins to loosen around the "X," about 15 to ⏱️ 30 seconds.

Transfer immediately to the ice bath and cool for ⏱️ 1 minute. Starting at the "X," peel away the loosened skin and discard.
