📝 Preparation Steps
1
For The Grilled Sweet Potatoes:
2
You need a gas grill with at least 2 burners. I have not tried this grilling technique on a charcoal grill.Preheat one of the burners to medium-high heat and the other one (next to it) to low heat, or just leave it off.
3
Wash, peel and slice potatoes into 1/2-inch wide and 1/4 -inch thick fries.Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, cumin, paprika and Cayenne pepper. Drizzle with olive oil. Toss to combine.

Place fries on the grill, on the side preheated to medium-hjgh heat. Grill for ⏱️ 2 minutes per side. Transfer potatoes to the side of the grill heated to low heat. Do not turn off the other side (the one preheated to high). Grill potatoes on indirect heat for ⏱️ 6 minutes per side (⏱️ 12 minutes total), until cooked through. (Cooking time can vary, do not burn or leave under cooked).
