📝 Preparation Steps
1
For the Roasted Garlic
2
Remove the excess papery skin off of a whole head of garlic, cut off the top head; then sprinkle some extra virgin olive oil and Kosher salt on top.
extra virgin olive oil1 tablespoon
3
Wrap in aluminum foil or a garlic cooker and bake at 425 degrees F for approximately ⏱️ 30 minutes. (When done, the garlic will squeeze out of the skin like butter. You can do this up to two days ahead of time; then keep sealed and stored in the refrigerator until ready to use.)
4
For the Pork Chops
5
Squeeze the garlic out of the papery skin and place it in a mini food processor. Next add the honey, vinegar, oil and salt; then pulse until well blended.
6
Add the pork chops to a resealable plastic bag, add the marinade; then refrigerate for ⏱️ 2-4 hours.
7
Remove the pork chops and allow to come to room temperature for about ⏱️ 15 minutes and preheat the grill. The temperature should be between 350° to 450°F so the meat doesn't stick.(Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of your pork chop and can range from ⏱️ 10-20 minutes.)1
