Start by heating the oil over medium-high heat in a medium saucepan until it reaches at least 350 degrees F.

In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon; set aside.

Remove the biscuits from the container; then poke a hole in the middle forming a donut shape. Repeat for all 8 biscuits.

Gently add all the donuts to the hot oil and fry ⏱️ 2 minutes per side or until each side is lightly browned and the dough has "puffed up". You may need to do this in two batches.

Remove the donuts from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain on plate lined with paper towels. Dip each donut into the sugar mixture; then place on a rack to cool slightly.

Eat these honey butter donuts immediately as they will not store well.
