Homemade “Snickers” Bites
We can’t get enough of these homemade Snickers bites at Deliciously Ella HQ at the moment. They’ve got a chewy peanut base and gooey miso caramel, all covered in a silky smooth layer of dark chocolate. We love eating them straight from the fridge.

📝 Preparation Steps
1
Line a 18 x 20 cm / 7 x 8” baking tray with baking parchment.
2
To make the peanut base, add the peanuts, dates and sea salt flakes (if using) to a food processor; blitz until you have a coarse paste that holds together. Transfer to the baking tray and squash into an even layer.
3
To make the caramel, add the dates, soya milk, miso and vanilla to a food processor; blitz until combined. Add the peanut butter and pulse for 2–⏱️ 3 seconds. Spread gently over the peanut layer.
4
Scatter over the chopped peanuts and press them into the caramel. Place in the fridge whilst you melt the chocolate.
5
Gently melt the chocolate and coconut oil (if using) in the microwave set to a low heat or a bain marie; pour over the caramel and spread into an even layer. Chill in the fridge for ⏱️ 1 hour (or the freezer for ⏱️ 30 minutes) until the chocolate has set.
6
To serve, scatter over some sea salt flakes and slice into bars.
