Combine the butter, brown sugar, and salt in a small saucepan over medium heat and stir until the butter has melted. Raise the heat and bring the mixture to a hard boil for ⏱️ 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the milk, stirring vigorously.
