Grilled Okra
Grilled okra is a fast and easy summer side dish recipe. Toss okra with oil and seasoning, then place it on a hot grill. The results are charred and crispy!

Trim the stem ends from the okra pods.

In a large bowl, combine the okra, oil, lemon pepper, and seasoned salt.

For the grill: Preheat a grill (charcoal or gas) to high heat (450°F to 500°F). Place the okra directly on the grill grates. Cook for 3 to ⏱️ 5 minutes, until grill marks form. Using a pair of tongs, flip the okra to cook the other side, 3 to ⏱️ 5 minutes more, until the okra is charred all over and tender.

Alternatively cook in a grill pan: Heat a large grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the okra in a single layer. Cook for 3 to ⏱️ 5 minutes, until grill marks form. Using a pair of tongs, flip the okra to cook the other side, 3 to ⏱️ 5 minutes more, until the okra is charred all over and tender.
