We think it’s a great idea to alternate different grains in your porridge to make sure your body is getting a variety of vitamins and minerals. Here we use porridge oats and add in quinoa, barley, or brown rice - your choice. Cacao nibs are a source of protein, fibre, healthy fats and antioxidants.

Place cooked grain of choice, porridge oats, hemp seeds and oat milk in a small saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring frequently until the porridge is smooth and creamy.

Mash the banana and stir into the porridge, or alternatively slice it on top before drizzling with peanut butter and sprinkling with cacao nibs. Eat immediately.
