Brush the zucchini on all sides with oil, season with salt and pepper to taste and place, cut side down, along the outsides of a baking sheet.

Bake in a preheated 450F/230C oven, on the lower shelf, for ⏱️ 10 minutes.

Transfer to the top oven shelf and broil for ⏱️ 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix the butter, garlic, parsley, and lemon zest.

Flip the zucchini, spread the butter mixture on, sprinkle on the parmesan and enjoy!
