These are the perfect festive cookies to use for gifts or decoration. You can make these as a plain cookie, which is delicious, or with some thick chocolate sauce piped on top.

📝 Preparation Steps

Place all of the ingredients into a food processor and pulse until a dough forms.

Roll the dough into a ball - cover and leave to chill in the fridge for at least ⏱️ 30 minutes.

After ⏱️ 30 minutes, preheat the oven to 180C (350F), fan setting.

Sprinkle a little flour over a work surface and roll out the dough using a rolling pin, you want the dough to be about 1 cm thick.

Cut into shapes using a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass and place onto a baking tray.

Bake for ⏱️ 10-15 minutes until golden, and then remove and leave to cool.
