📝 Preparation Steps
1
Grab a big stockpot or a Dutch oven. Heat your vegetable oil over medium heat. Toss in the sliced chicken sausage, diced onion, and bell peppers. Cook for about 4 to ⏱️ 5 minutes, stirring now and then, until those veggies start to soften up.
2
Now, stir in the basmati rice. Add the minced garlic, paprika, oregano, onion powder, thyme, and the bay leaf. Give it all a good stir and cook for another minute or two until it smells amazing. Don't forget to season with salt and pepper!

Gently stir in the peeled and deveined shrimp. Give it another sprinkle of salt and pepper if you like. Cover the pot again and let it cook for about 5 more minutes. You'll know it's ready when the shrimp turn pink and the rice is tender.

Finally, stir in the fresh chopped parsley. Give it a final taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve immediately!
