In a large mixing bowl, mix together butter and shortening until smooth and creamy.

Add mint extract and mix until combined.

Gradually add powdered sugar (1/2 cup at a time).

Add a little milk (1 tbsp at a time) to thin out the frosting until it has the perfect spreadable consistency.
