Gather 1 cup dried minced onion, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 tablespoon parsley flakes, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon dried thyme, 2 teaspoons dried minced garlic, and 1 teaspoon ground black pepper.

Add everything to a mixing bowl.

Transfer to a clean, dry mason jar.

To make a simplified French Onion Soup broth, add 1 tablespoon of this dry mix to 4 cups of beef broth.* You can also combine 4 tablespoons of this mix with 16 ounces of sour cream for a creamy dip (which is the equivalent of Lipton packet.)
