Combine the fresh or frozen cranberries, dried cranberries, sugar, cranberry juice, lime juice and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the liquid starts to thicken, 25 to ⏱️ 30 minutes.

Remove the pan from the heat and let the sauce cool completely, about ⏱️ 2 hours. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
