Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker, preferably in a single layer. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning packet directly over the chicken, covering it as much as possible.

Spoon the can of cream of chicken soup over the seasoned chicken. Place the half block of cream cheese on top, usually in the center. Pour in the splash of chicken broth.
