Start cooking the pasta as directed on the package.

Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat, add the chicken, seasoned with the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper, and cook, about ⏱️ 10 minutes, before setting aside.

Add the onion and bell pepper to the pan and cook until tender, about ⏱️ 5-8 minutes

Add the garlic, thyme, paprika, and red pepper flakes, mix, and cook until fragrant, about a minute.

Add 1/2 cup of the broth and deglaze the pan by scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan as the broth sizzles.

Add the remaining broth and cream, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for ⏱️ 5 minutes.

Mix in the dijon mustard, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, and chives before seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
