To make the compote, place the blueberries into a small saucepan over medium–low heat. Cook for 4–⏱️ 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until glossy and softened. Remove from the heat.

To make the porridge, place the oats, quinoa, milk and salt (if using) into a saucepan over medium–low heat. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 15–⏱️ 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until creamy.

Divide between bowls and top with the blueberry compote, sliced banana and flaxseeds. Delicious with a spoonful of nut butter.
