Start cooking the pasta as directed on the package.

Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large pan/skillet, add the sausage and onion, and cook, breaking the sausage apart as it cooks, before draining any excess grease.

Add the cream, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for a few minutes.

Add the cheese and let it melt.

Add the peas and heat.

Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix in the parsley.
