Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard 9x5 inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas. Stir in the melted butter, granulated sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gently stir the dry ingredients into the wet banana mixture just until incorporated.
