Chocolate Rice Crispy Nests
These are our take on the family favourite chocolate rice crispy cakes. They're so simple to make and great fun. If you don't have cupcake cases, simply press the mixture into a lined cake tin to make a rice crispy cake instead - this is also delicious topped with melted dark chocolate. These are best enjoyed the day they are made, they can go a little hard the day after.

Line a 12 hole muffin tray with cupcake cases.

Place the cacao butter, maple syrup and cacao powder into a pan over a low heat and cook until melted.

Place the puffed rice and chocolate chips into a large bowl and pour over the melted mixture. Mix well until the mixture comes together. Once combined, spoon equal amounts of the mixture into the individual cupcake cases.

Place in the fridge for at least ⏱️ 1 hour to set.
