Start cooking the pasta as directed on the package.

Meanwhile, heat the oil and melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat, add the chicken, seasoned with the Italian seasoning, salt and pepper, and the onion, and cook until the chicken is golden brown, about ⏱️ 10 minutes.

Add the garlic, red pepper flakes, and butter, mix and cook until fragrant, about a minute.

Sprinkle in the flour, mix and cook for a minute.

Add the broth, lemon juice, lemon zest, and capers, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for ⏱️ 5 minutes.

Add the butter and parsley, mix and season with salt and pepper to taste.
