Cherry season is in full swing and I have certainly been enjoying them. With them being so cheap I have been getting a lot of them; perhaps too many and I needed to do something

Toss the cherries with the cornstarch, sugar and amaretto.

Mix the flour, rolled oats, almonds, brown sugar and butter in a large bowl.

Place the cherries into an 8×8 inch baking dish (or 6 ramekins) and pour the topping on.

Bake in a preheated 350F/180C oven until it is bubbling and the top is golden brown, about ⏱️ 45 minutes.
