I first came across the concept of a clafoutis last year after I started food blogging. I had however, just missed cherry season so I decided to wait. Now that the local cherries are here

Mix the flour, sugar and salt in a bowl.

Mix in the eggs, one at a time.

Mix in the milk and vanilla extract.

Place the cherries on the bottom of a greased 9 inch pie plate.

Pour the batter over the cherries.

Bake in a preheated 375F/190C oven until the clafoutis is puffed and golden brown, about ⏱️ 40-45 minutes.
