Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. In a small bowl, add 1 ½ cups warm water, 2 tablespoon sugar, and 1 tablespoon yeast. Stir together and let sit for ⏱️ 5 minutes.

Add 3 ½ cups flour and 1 teaspoon salt to a stand mixer. Add the yeast mixture and mix until smooth. Allow the dough to raise for ⏱️ 10 minutes.

Roll the dough into a large rectangle on a large cookie sheet, or roll it out onto a 10-inch pizza pan about ¼ inch thick. Let the dough rest for another ⏱️ 10 minutes.

Melt the 6 tablespoons salted butter, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning. Brush on top of the pizza dough. Sprinkle with 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, and 1 teaspoon parmesan cheese. Top with chopped parsley for garnish.
