Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

Pour vegetable oil into a deep saucepan until it is 3 inches deep. Heat the oil to 350 degrees.

Cook the fries in the oil according to the package directions until they are golden and crisp. Drain fries on a wire cooling rack. If you are using a small deep fryer, fry them in small batches.

Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Spread out the cooked French fries on an ovenproof dish. Be sure to leave a well in the middle that’s the size of the small bowl you’ll have ranch dressing in when you serve the fries.

Sprinkle shredded cheese and bacon pieces over the fries.

Bake for 7 to ⏱️ 8 minutes or until the cheese melts and begins to brown.

Place a small bowl of Ranch dressing in the middle of the fries. Serve immediately.
