Cheddar-Chive Biscuits

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a food processor, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, cheddar cheese, and chives. Pulse until well combined. Add 12 tablespoons of the butter and pulse until mostly incorporated, but with a few chunks of butter remaining. Pour in the buttermilk while pulsing, stopping when the dough just comes together. (Add a little more buttermilk if the dough is overly dry.) If you do not have a food processor, cut together the dry ingredients with the butter, then stir in the other ingredients.

Drop the dough onto a baking sheet in 1/4 cup-portions (bigger if you'd like!) and bake until golden brown, 12 to ⏱️ 15 minutes.

Brush the biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle with more chives!
