Cook the bacon in a large saucepan over medium heat, and set aside, reserving the bacon grease in the pan.

Add the sausage and cook, breaking it apart as it cooks, before setting aside.

Add the onion and jalapeno and cook until tender, about ⏱️ 5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cumin and cook until fragrant, about a minute.

Add the broth, tomatoes, beans, bacon, sausage and vinegar, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer, covered, until the beans are tender, about an hour. *
